From the Hands to the Heart

Valentine’s Shoulder Workshop for the Heart Center. Come join us on Monday February 9, 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Spaces are limited. Offered in person and online. Recordings will be valid for 30 days.

This all-levels shoulder workshop is for you if: you experience stiffness in your upper body, have a stubborn shoulder, or if you’d like to connect more deeply with the world around you without losing your center. Our practice will strengthen and mobilize the shoulders, create space in the upper back, and gently open the heart center. We will explore the balance between the action of "doing" and the receptivity of "being". Throughout the class you will have the option to choose gentler variations or more challenging poses depending upon what feels right in the moment.

IYENGAR YOGA

Repose Yoga is a practice that focuses on alignment and strengthening the muscles responsible for maintaining good posture. By emphasizing precision in body alignment in each pose, students learn to support their skeletal structure with muscles evenly and without asymmetry, leading to safe and harmonious practice. The use of props further aids in achieving proper alignment suitable for individual bodies, distinguishing Iyengar Yoga from other yoga styles. Your first class is free, book a class below.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Katie has over 29 years of experience in massage and yoga, and it shows.  She is kind, clear, and intelligent in her approach. Her goal in her work is to create an environment that supports each of us to connect with the well of strength, quiet, and joy inside. Katie is a licensed massage practitioner in the state of Washington. She is certified in Lymphatic Therapy, Cranio Sacral Therapy, and she holds a Level 3 Certificate in Neuro Kinetic Therapy.
